Overcoming the Struggles of Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

### Healing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

**What is PTSD?**

PTSD, or post-traumatic stress disorder, is often described as a psychiatric condition affecting people who have gone through traumatic events like war, natural disasters, physical abuse, or serious threats. While these situations can indeed cause PTSD, I also see it in people who haven’t experienced such extreme events. For instance, police officers dealing with violent crimes, paramedics, or those in emotionally abusive relationships can also exhibit PTSD symptoms. Even health traumas or stressful family environments can lead to PTSD. It’s important to understand that what affects one person might not affect another in the same way.

**How Does It Affect Us?**

PTSD can manifest in various ways, often triggered by something like a smell, sound, or even a word. Common symptoms include panic attacks, sweating, nausea, flashbacks, disturbing thoughts, insomnia, nightmares, depression, and a lack of confidence. People with PTSD might avoid places or situations that remind them of the trauma, feel guilt or remorse, and struggle with anger or isolation. These symptoms can significantly impact their lives and the lives of those around them.

**Living With It**

Everyone deals with PTSD differently. Some might manage it on their own, while others need significant medical intervention. However, it’s important to know that PTSD can be treated. In the USA, experts use tools like neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) to help veterans with PTSD. While we can’t change the past, we can alter how it affects us now.

**Beliefs of PTSD & Soul Fragmentation**

PTSD can make you feel like you have no control, constantly reliving the trauma. Imagine if someone rearranged your kitchen – you’d struggle to find things because they’re not where you expect them to be. PTSD is similar; the brain stores the traumatic memory in fragmented pieces, which can be triggered separately.

Soul fragmentation is another concept where a part of your soul remains stuck in the traumatic event. Techniques like using the Akashic Records can help retrieve these fragments, making the soul whole again.

**Healing PTSD**

In my approach, I help bring together these fragmented pieces. I create an anchor point on the body, like the collarbone, loaded with positive emotions. My clients can press this point to flood their body with good feelings. I also use Timeline Therapy to revisit the traumatic event and reframe it, reducing its emotional impact. Using NLP techniques like The Swish Pattern, I help clients shift from their old, limiting responses to more empowering ones.

**Affected Chakras & Crystals for Healing**

Trauma can throw your chakras out of balance. The chakras most affected by PTSD are:

– **Root Chakra:** Security and certainty
– **Solar Plexus Chakra:** Fear and emotional trauma
– **Heart Chakra:** Loss and fear of love
– **Throat Chakra:** Difficulty expressing oneself

Crystals can help rebalance these chakras. You can place them on the corresponding chakra area while lying down, carry them, or wear them as jewelry. However, remember that crystals are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological treatment. If you’re struggling with PTSD, seek help from qualified professionals.

**Alternative Healing**

I also use hypnotherapy and Reiki in my sessions, which can sometimes clear PTSD in just one session. While self-healing is possible, many people with PTSD may not be in the right place to do it alone. If you or someone you know needs help, support is available.
